Methadone
Methadone is a medication used to treat physical dependence to opiates since 1965. This medication is effective because it prevents withdrawal symptoms, reduces or eliminates the craving for opiates and blocks the effects if other opiates are used. Methadone is used on an outpatient basis and regular clinic attendance is required. Medication alone is not enough to address the variety of challenges faced by our clients. For this reason, Valhalla Place requires that patients participate in regular counseling sessions, both individual and group, in order to promote a lifestyle free of illicit drug use.Suboxone
Suboxone is a medication used to treat physical dependence to opiates since 2002. Medication alone is not enough to address the variety of challenges faced by our clients. For this reason, Valhalla Place requires that patients participate in regular counseling sessions, both individual and group, in order to promote a lifestyle free of illicit drug use.Vivitrol
